my camera broke. but i got it fixed. now i just have to pick it up.

the decemberists in my head.

i've been listening to a lot of the decemberists lately.

acryllic on construction paper, 8.5" x 11"
painting on construction paper was interesting. there's a lot of fast layering involved, the water soaks up real quick. it's cool.
but then again, i'm an art nerd.

mike's koi

tattooed this on a good friend today :)

it's a koi fish that brandon boyd from incubus apparently has tattooed on him somewheres, done by jose from the same band? i think? my friend mike told me, but i was concentrating on doing the tattoo.

it took five and a half hours to get this done. he was being a baby and taking breaks every five seconds. and his aunt and little cousin showed up to watch? awkward.

admittedly this is a mad sensitive spot, and it probably killed. but i have to give him shit anyways.

now i really want an all-red tattoo. i'd thought about it a lot, specifically like stippling/pointilism etc. they're pretty cool.
